AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ASSISTANT

Erdkamp Motors is a family owned, full-service Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram dealership located in Exeter, Nebr. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday.

DUTIES

• Thoroughly and efficiently perform basic vehicle maintenance (e.g. oil change, tune-up, filter replacement, brakes, etc.) and repairs (e.g. suspension, A/C work, etc.) in accordance with dealership standards

REQUIREMENTS

• Associates degree from accredited institution (general automotive or Mopar CAP) or ASE
• Certification preferred but not required; will consider relevant job experience;
• Tools;
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record;
• Lift 50+ pounds;
• Operate and troubleshoot computer systems required to complete job duties;
• Clearly communicate needed repairs and/or maintenance (including estimated cost);
• Maintain accurate time punches and clearly document all work performed.
